Linda Dixon, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in anesthesiology, with a background in dental hygiene. She entered the permanent makeup industry in 1979 and developed pain management protocols that have been taught to permanent makeup professionals for decades. She is the creator of the Dixon Technique, known for its approach to lip color, realistic eyebrow strokes, and smoky eyeliner.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dixon has trained permanent makeup professionals across the United States and internationally, sharing her expertise in pain management, anesthetic protocols, and procedural safety.
Dr. Dixon served as President of the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM), helping advance professional education within the organization and the broader PMU community.
